Last day

We went to Cholon and 2 Chinese pagodas. The 1st pagoda looked very familiar from the front page of a prior Lonely Planet.

At the Chinese pagodas there were birds that they let free. The cylco driver got one that seem to have a sore wing. The cylco man gave it to us to let loose but it was injured, and it got into water so we scooped it out. I put it on a wood pile but don't like its chances.

We had issues with a lady who did a painting.. but in the end sorted it seems although due to communication issues, and my lack of a prior receipt she was still angry. We have been busy with last minute shopping and taxi soon to come.

It has poured torrentially this afternoon which has been good for a quiet time.. Lotus had a big sleep but Charlotte needs a big sleep and grumpy. We have to change timezones for tomorrow and it looks like it will be freezing in comparison once home.. with 2 stops on the way to change planes with one stop to visit the relatives briefly to drop their gifts.

More tourists around here last few days and what seems like an Intrepid trip around today that we also saw on the cyclo trip. We paid our cyclo guys $20 USD each and they were thrilled.
